Prime Minister Viktor Orbán visited Indonesia on 22-23 January 2020. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Péter Szijjártó Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade. The Prime Minister met with Sultan X. Hamengkubuwono, Governor of Yogyakarta Special Area in Yogyakarta, and attended a CDI leadership meeting as a Vice-President of the Christian Democratic International in Yogyakarta. On 23 January, the Indonesian President Joko Widodo welcomed the Hungarian Prime Minister at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta and had a one-on-one meeting and a plenary session in the presence of Péter Szijjártó, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade.
