Certain unidentified persons are taking advantage of the situation generated by the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID19) global pandemic with the intention to commit fraud. Frauds of that nature even if these are only attempted but not completed, are capable of undermining confidence in the credibility of Hungarian businesses as well as the Hungarian economy as a whole. Therefore you are kindly requested to exercise caution and perform due diligence prior to engaging in any such transactions.
Partial resumption of consular services
The Consular Office of the Embassy of Hungary in Jakarta shall resume its customer service as of May 18, 2020, with restricted schedule and service.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán visited Indonesia on 22-23 January 2020. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Péter Szijjártó Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade. The Prime Minister met with Sultan X. Hamengkubuwono, Governor of Yogyakarta Special Area in Yogyakarta, and attended a CDI leadership meeting as a Vice-President of the Christian Democratic International in Yogyakarta. On 23 January, the Indonesian President Joko Widodo welcomed the Hungarian Prime Minister at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta and had a one-on-one meeting and a plenary session in the presence of Péter Szijjártó, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade.
